Mandarin is a natural flavoring derived from mandarins. Mandarin has an immediate effect. The distinctive, sparkling citrus aroma simply splashes onto the skin. But that's not all.
Mandarin is also very fruity and aromatic. It's a wonderful ingredient. However, because it's transparent, the scent quickly dissipates. To stretch it out a bit, I added an extra twist, the mandarin ingredient used in flavorings, for a super juicy twist.
As it begins to fade, Molecule 01 emerges, creating a play between the warm sensuality of Molecule 01 and the tantalizing freshness of mandarin. It’s unusual – a top note like mandarin and a base note like Iso E Super dance together like this, naked, without the interference of other notes. And finally, when the scent of mandarin has almost disappeared, Molecule 01 comes into its own in all its simplicity. That’s what I love about Molecule 01 + Mandarin. It may be a dance of just two ingredients, but it constantly – from the beginning, through the middle, to the end – tells a different story.
