Created in 1947 from a passionate desire to rediscover the charm of women, Miss Dior is one of the most iconic fragrances of the House of Dior.
Today, still driven by the desire to evoke and awaken love, the juice of Miss Dior Eau de Parfum has been reinvented as an olfactory "millefiori" that accompanies a heart of centifolia rose and a base of delicate woody notes. The fresh floral trail radiates a radiant optimism for Miss Dior, more attuned than ever to the times in which she lives.
Miss Dior's dagger bow, inseparable from the perfume, is an extraordinary work of haute couture, the many colours of which reflect the inspiration of a thousand flowers.
"All our senses are awakened by the sensuality of a floral bouquet in the new Miss Dior Eau de Parfum. It celebrates the velvety, carnal rose, the fresh lily of the valley and the teasing peony surrounded by powdery iris. François Demachy, perfumer-
Creator of the House of Dior.
Elegant and a little daring, known as the “dagger” or “dovetail”, the Miss Dior bow is a universal signature, a sign of recognition of haute couture. Today, it has been reinvented with exceptional luxury and savoir-faire. To encircle the neck of her bottle, an exceptional ribbon was made in the secret workshops of one of the greatest ribbon makers in France, who have been involved in the haute couture catwalks for decades.
Over many months, the jacquard ribbon was woven on traditional wooden looms from approximately 396 threads, each centimeter of which contained approximately 12,000 crosses. A beautiful, neat creation that decorates each knot of the jacquard ribbon with a myriad of pastel colors.
These centimeters of ribbon required as much creativity, time and attention as the embellishment of the most beautiful dresses on the catwalk.
